New principal?, seemed to be the common denominator in the program.
Leadership - access by staff and students
Peer feedback - coaches, not a popularity contest
Learning Mentors - Approaches to learning
Student feedback - unified
Time - staff to actually do this, currently no time
Resources
Structures
Critical thinking/Problem solving
Teacher/student relationships
Everyone on the same page, teachers, students, leadership, in reference to expectations
Work smarter, not harder
We have stayed the same but other countries have improved
Students in general, arrive in Year 7 being able to think laterally. However by the time they reach Year 9, have been put back into boxes where rote learning predominates.
Do numbers really equate to success?
Doesn't everything here we do equate to anything?
